Samantha Schoenhaus D.O FACOG
I focused my medical career on OBGYN because I wanted to help women through the major milestones in their lives. Having a long-term relationship with my patients also allows me to understand how various aspects of their lives can impact their overall health. My training emphasized that women have many facets beyond the uterus and that in order to properly care for them, you have to understand what is going on emotionally, hormonally, and physically. I have incorporated this training philosophy into my practice and my daily life.
I went to medical school at Western University of Health Sciences and completed my residency at Kaiser Los Angeles/UCLA. I have multiple publications in Women’s Health and prevention of preterm delivery.
I really like the business model of our practice because it allows me to focus on the aspects of OBGYN that I really love, which include women’s long-term health care, sexual dysfunction, hormonal imbalance, obstetrics, and the performance of less invasive surgeries for abnormal bleeding and fibroids.
In my free time, I enjoy traveling and have had the opportunity to work on medical missions in several countries, thereby expanding my understanding and appreciation of the impact of cultural differences on medical treatment. My main priority, however, is spending time with my family and watching my beautiful boys make their way through life.
