Are my medical records kept private and confidential?
Your medical file is handled with the utmost respect for your privacy. Our staff is bound by strict confidentiality requirements regarding your medical records as a condition of employment. The staff abides strictly by HIPAA regulations and guidelines.
What are my costs for surgery?
Surgery costs include fees for the surgeon, assistant (if needed), anesthesiologist and the facility.
Do you routinely call back with normal results?
Results are made available to you after review by the provider. We contact patients directly with all abnormal results. All other results are available through the patient portal.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, check, debit, Mastercard, Visa, Discover and American Express.
My prescription ran out and I need a refill. What do I do?
Prescription refills are done during regular business hours. Please plan ahead as refills will not be called in on nights or weekends.
How do I get in touch with the doctor after hours?
The office number goes to the answering service when the office is closed. The service will contact the on call physician.
What is your fee schedule?
Fees for services are available through our financial department.
When should I arrive for my appointment?
If you are a new patient, please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your appointment time to complete paperwork and insurance verification.
I only want to see a woman provider. Is that possible?
Routine office visits can be scheduled with any provider, but the amount of time for the available appointments will vary. Emergency visits will be conducted by the first available provider. Hospital coverage and OB care is performed by the on call physician, which includes both male and female physicians. Exceptions are not made for hospital/on call coverage issues.
Will my doctor come to my delivery?
While it is possible that you may see your doctor for delivery, it is not assured. The doctors have a call schedule to cover the hospital and in-hospital services are provided by the on call doctor.
What facilities are surgeries performed at?
Hospital and OB services are provided at St. Rose Dominican Siena Campus, St. Rose Dominican San Martin Campus, Spring Valley Hospital and Southern Hills Hospital. Outpatient surgeries are also done at Parkway Surgery Center.
